The first draft of Vinea Rewards!
Last week we finished our reward contract and began to test some scenarios where we’ll use it!
Just to refresh our minds: This contract will be responsible for creating rewards as NFTs for a given community of a collection.
You can check more details about this system in the previous issue and in the issue’s archive.
So a company could deploy this contract and create its own rules about giving a reward and a user could check if he/she is eligible to claim this reward.
But after we begin to test some scenarios and use cases we start to see some problems with the current implementation.
The biggest one is the complexity of our contract is quite large and this is not a good sign in the smart contract land.
More complexity means (usually) more edge cases or uncovered exploits that are hard to find and could be disastrous for the project.
We already have a course correction path and we’ll focus on it during this week.
I could share more technically content about all of these things, but I’m not convinced that my readers want this!

The Business Side
I think that you noticed it by now, but all the content that I share here is more technical rather than focused on the business side of Vinea.
There are two main reasons for it:
I’m a technical person! So this area is my expertise and where I feel more comfortable to write about.
We don’t have a business plan yet 😅!
If you are here for the business side of things don’t worry, we will eventually get there! Right now we’re very early and don’t have a real product yet, this is why we’re focusing more in that front
But even so, we’re already working the business details to wrap the Vinea platform around and I’m getting help from very good people that already walked through this path before.
One of them is Marcelo Bissuh, I think most of my readers know him and the awesome job that he does so yeah! I have the best possible mentor for this!
And I’m really hoping (and working!!) that I could share business details really soon with you all!
I’m working on a web3 course!
Yes! I’am producing a web3/ethereum course for people who want to start building in this space!
I want to help more developers and creators to join the web3 community so with I partnered up with TC to produce a course specific for this subject
I’m starting to land out some content for a 4-5 hours course covering the very basics of web3 and Smart Contracts!
This course will be in Portuguese and will be available at TC Academy, an online platform of the company where you can find all sorts of financial and investments courses!
I’m really excited for this and I hope I can help more and more people getting to web3 😊
